As an enterprise we came into being in the year 1947. In the golden period post-independence, we excelled in the manufacture and supply of Industrial Fans, Special Motors, Premium Electrical Transformers, Sophisticated Electronic Components and thus a seed was sown for a company that would soon be counted among the quality conscious and most dependable supplier of technical products.

The 1970s decade was a turning point in the history of the company. In 1975, a collaboration with the German manufacturer Lenze GmbH signaled our entry into manufacturing of Emco Simplatroll Brakes and Clutches. In 1993 Lenze became an equity investor and thus Emco Lenze Pvt Ltd came into being . In the year 2006 Emco Dynatorq Pvt Ltd was born as a result of consummation of Lenze partnership.
