As an enterprise we came into being in the year 1947. In the golden period post-independence, we excelled in the manufacture and supply of Industrial Fans, Special Motors, Premium Electrical Transformers, Sophisticated Electronic Components and thus a seed was sown for a company that would soon be counted among the quality conscious and most dependable supplier of technical products.<\/p>

The 1970s decade was a turning point in the history of the company. In 1975, a collaboration with the German manufacturer Lenze GmbH signaled our entry into manufacturing of Emco Simplatroll Brakes and Clutches. In 1993 Lenze became an equity investor and thus Emco Lenze Pvt Ltd came into being . In the year 2006 Emco Dynatorq Pvt Ltd was born as a result of consummation of Lenze partnership.<\/p>


Emco Dynatorq has many firsts to its credit. We are the only INDIAN company to manufacture in excess of ONE LAC units annually. We are the only company to offer customized solutions and help the customer in appropriate brake selection. Our customers all over the world have been served well for decades due to the successful design and installation of a vast array of brakes, clutches and combinations. Emco Dynatorq is the first to receive EN 81 certification for Elevator Brakes in India.<\/p>

We are always at the forefront of technology. We have a full-fledged factory in Vasai in the outskirts of Mumbai and another in Waghodia near Baroda to serve both our domestic as well as export customers. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a fleet of CNC Machining and Turning Centers. Our R&D team constantly explores innovative solutions that positively impact the customer workplace.<\/p>

We manufacture a wide range of Electromagnetic Brakes starting from 4 NM to 5000 NM and above. Apart from the standard Spring Applied Fail Safe Brakes, we also offer Flame Proof Brakes, Marine Duty and Weatherproof Brakes, Double Rotor, Double Brakes, High Torque Brakes, Power Saver Brakes and Elevator Brakes etc.<\/p>

We are an OEM supplier to numerous manufacturers of Electrical Motors, Crane & Hoist, Lift, Escalators, Conveyors, Parking and Material Handling equipments. Our brakes are regularly used in Textile Machines, Steel Plants, Power Transmission equipments, Mining, Tyre and Coil Winding Machinery. We are a chosen supplier for sunrise sectors like Wind, Satellite Launch Pad, Defense, Space and Nuclear Power.<\/p>

We have a Pan-India distributor channel in place for providing sales and services to customers spread across the length and breadth of the country.<\/p>
