Solitaire Machine Tools (SMT) manufactures Centerless grinders under License of Cincinnati Milacron of USA. It is thus possible to Rebuilt and Retrofit old Cincinnati grinders of certain models. SMT has successfully carried out this re-built work for a number of grinders, varying from 100mm wheel width, 200mm,250mm and 500mm width. These grinders can be conventionally re-built or even retrofitted to a CNC from a conventional grinder.

DETAILS OF REMANUFACTURING/RECONDITIONING
- Completely dismantle machine
- Disassemble all sub-assemblies and other units.
- Clean all parts of the machine. Inspect all parts of the machine. Clean and remove paint from all parts of the machine.
- Paint all parts of the machine with Acrylic Polyurethane paint.
- Regrind or re-scrape regulating wheel housing, upper and lower slides, swivel and bed casting, Rescrape or replace and adjust gibs.
- Recoat regulating wheel spindle, grind to the original diameter and replace or re-scrape special alloy bronze bearings.
- Recoat the grinding wheel spindle, grind to the original diameter, and replace or rework bearings, as required, and scrape to suit the spindle.
- Rebuild transmission and replace worn pulleys, belts, etc.
- Rebuild and replace regulating wheel infeed lead screw/ ball screw.
- New lubrication system. Replace parts.
- New electrical panel. Overhaul electric motors as required.
- Assemble machine and test.
