The Type 14.488 DC Spring Applied Double Coil Brake is engineered for applications requiring both holding and emergency stopping functions. Operating as a ‘Normally On’ brake, it ensures safety and reliability in industrial environments, particularly in brake motor applications and EFF motor series compatibility.
This model incorporates two coils: a booster coil and a main coil. The booster coil is designed for short-time duty cycles and is disconnected after brake opening, while the main coil ensures consistent operation. With a braking torque range up to 600 Nm, the 14.488 provides powerful stopping performance suitable for a variety of heavy-duty applications. its special design allows the use of brake for long motor running cycles ensuring the brake safety
